Description
This PCIe riser lets a full-size x16 card, such as a graphics card, run from a PCIe x1 slot (or any larger PCIe slot) through a 60 cm cable, so the card can sit away from the motherboard. The x16 riser board takes power straight from the power supply through a 4-pin Molex, SATA or 6-pin PCIe connector, easing the load on the motherboard, and no driver is needed. The link runs at PCIe x1 speed, and although the cable uses USB 3.0 plugs it is not a USB connection, so never plug it into a USB port. The riser is backed by a 24-month warranty.
